Sacred Cacao & Blue Lotus ceremony – GONG EDITION

Musically assisted by sister Yarana Chandar, and for this day we invite some gongplayers to join the sound.

After drinking the ‘ceremonial grade’ cacao* mixed in a special tea, Zelday will create a sacred space with sounds, vibrations, voice and icaros (plant medicine music) and meditations. “While the Sacred Medicines are entering your body, you hear soft breathing sounds, humming, whistling… enchanting rhythms… rustling leaves … subtle sparkling tingling seeds… icaros calling upon the maestros and spirits… heart-opening voices… the chakapa… gongs… wind chimes…. singing bowls and bells… the magic multi-layered voices of the deep didgeridoo… Zelday bring the sounds and vibration of the jungle with its many helpers and in every cell in you the Universe starts opening up, showing you what you need to see…” This Sacred Space is an invitation for you to open your fullest potential. Zelday might support the individual processes with other plant medicines such as rapé and limpia’s (shamanic healing). Towards the end there will be singing with guitar and the opportunity for participants to join in the music. We will end the gathering by sharing a healthy and nourishing potluck meal meal.

MEDICINAL GUATAMALAN CACAO

The sacred medicine of Cacao alters the neurochemicals in the brain, produces a feeling of well-being and heart-opening, helps us elevate our state of consciousness, brings our polarities into balance and reconnects us in an infinite state of Oneness.
The highly potent ‘ceremonial grade’ cacao that we use for our ceremonies has a natural strong dose of these substances, since it is not being modified for consumption. Most cacao is produced as cheap as possible, for consumption. There is also beautiful raw cacao for healthy food and as an energy supplement. And then… there is wild and medicinal cacao! We only use the purest and most potent healing cacao we know, an ancient and rare Guatemalan variety that is being selected for it’s very strong vibration, which doesn’t come from cacao plantations but grows either wild in the jungle or together with other plants in a balanced permaculture, to reach the optimum natural conditions for both of them. It is carefully selected and difficult to get.

CEREMONIAL BLUE LOTUS

Blue Lotus plant extracts have been used ceremonial wise and for medicinal purpose back in Ancient Egypt. The plant itself was symbolic for the rising and setting of the sun. The old Egyptians linked this plant to the sun god and the story of creation. Based on scientific research and evidence from ancient history Nymphaea caerulea ( Blue Lotus ) should relieve pain, induces euphoria and ecstatic states, sexual promotion and in high doses it will induce visions.

The plant contains the alkaloids Nuciferine and Apo morphine. It is an very beautiful addition to Cacao, both plants melt together beautifully. The dosage in the Sacred Cacao & Blue Lotus ceremonies is from an intensity in where you will be total comfortable to drive or travel home afterwards.

 

RAPÉH

Like all sacred plant ceremonies we work also with the strength of the tobacco plant in the Amazonian Rapéh. This is a combination of powdered plants fused with tobacco. We will explain more about it on the day of ceremony. This is optional for those who want to.

Ticket contribution depends on your financial willingness and/or situation, in order to keep this work on going we invite you for a conscious choice. Notice the lower option is really for those who are in serious financial discomfort.

TIME

Doors open at 13.30 and entrée is up to 14.00. Start ceremony at 14.00. Doors will close at 14.00, so be on time!
Around 21.00 we all leave the chapel.

PARKING

The organisation of the church kindly invites everybody not to park your car in the Kampstraat itself because of the limited spots for locals. There are many places around this street to park your car. Please notice that it will take a little more time to enter the church. Prepare yourself well to be in time for the ceremony.

PREPARATION

On the day before the ceremony eat only light meals (oat porridge, smoothie, fruits, salad, steamed of grilled vegetables, soup) and don’t drink any alcohol and/or coffee. On the day itself it is best to only have breakfast. If you do need food for lunch keep it very light, as to have your full energy available for the ceremony.

POTLUCK MEAL

After the ceremony we share some delicious foods, so bring in some beautiful and biological foods to share and celebrate the nectar of life.

WHAT TO BRING

A mattress to lie on and other things to make yourself comfortable during the ceremony (like a sheep skin, pillow and blanket). Please no thick air matrasses which make too much noise during the ceremony
An instrument, if you like to join towards the end of the ceremony.

CANCELATION POLICY

In case you need to cancel the ceremony, please notice that we do not pay back the contribution. Of course you might give or sell your entrance to someone else.​ You can always ask if there is a waiting list, so we can help you.
