This custom made instrument has especially tuned and designed to the wishes of one of my students.
Soundwise this player wanted an instrument that was tuned in A and has meditative quality.It means in this case the instrument itself resonates a little more, so a full round drone is to be heard. Voice playing quality was another wish, like singing with a few notes around the drone. This didgeridoo gives enough and comfortable space for it. The first trumpet note is very easy to hit, so are the following few too.
The design of this instrument speaks for itself. The flames of the wood are slightly visible trough a transparent white and black colored layer. Inlaid with the customer’s personal sacred white stone in the middle between the black and white parts of the didgeridoo. A small peace from the Amazonian Ayahuasca vine has inlaid as a transformational metaphor in between the dark and lightful worlds. It all becomes one on this instrument, that was an inspirational journey and pleasure to build.
White wash look, with a slice engraved from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine. Designed with wood carvings and high quality finish on the in and outside. This instruments are true collector items in sound and design.
